Thank you for joining us to develop the CEU Website - a platform for interaction and communication within and outside of the CEU community!

To contribute to this Website and to see the rest of this Handbook you will first need to login -- use the login link in the upper right corner. You will need to enter your CEU Novell user ID and password.

This Website Handbook aims to assist and guide users of the CEU website. The Handbook is collaborative: users are welcome to provide feedback if they see a place for improvement or even add or edit the Handbook themselves. The Handbook has four parts:

  • Part 1. Getting Started. This is a must for all first-time users. It should also be sufficient for most users (with Staff, Faculty or PhD Student roles) who would like to add or edit the Website content, but do not want to deal with the structure and layout of the Website.
  • Part 2. Beyond the Basics part is intended for those users who have the role of Editors and who will deal with more advanced operations of structuring the Website content.

If you are using the website for the first time, as a User or Editor, please read the first one or two chapters of the Handbook carefully before proceeding to create and update your information.

  • Part 3. The Website Rules is a full compilation of rules and conventions on operating the Website.
  • Part 4. Under the Hood  contains detailed documentation and information for those involved in the development and administration of the Website. It should not normally be necessary for normal users or Editors to consult this last part.

You can quickly access parts of this Handbook by using the Book Navigation menu on the left as well as the navigation buttons at the bottom of the page. If you prefer to print the Handbook or some part of it, click on Printer-friendly version at the bottom of the page. Note that it will display only the current section and all of its subsections (though if you click on this button from this page you will have the whole Handbook ready for printing).
