SECOND Call for Applications for CEU-SABANCI Joint Academic Initiatives

Central European University and Sabanci University are announcing the second round of the CEU-SABANCI Joint Academic Initiative. Conditions of this year's Call for Applications are limited to smaller-scale projects and to extra funding for ongoing CEU-Sabanci projects. CEU-IWM Junior Visiting Fellowship for CEU doctoral students

Following last year's highly successful first call for applications Central European University and the Institute for Human Sciences (Institut für die Wissenschaften vom Menschen, IWM) in Vienna jointly launches a new call for applications for CEU doctoral students to spend a three month-long visiting fellowship at IWM, Vienna.

The programme

Receiving researchers from abroad is one of the main priorities of local policy in favour of research. Fostering exchanges on a global scale and researchers’ mobility plays a key part in ensuring that Parisian Research flourishes.

Since 2003, the City of Paris has offered a selective programme to draw researchers from abroad – postdoctoral and senior researchers – to public-sector research laboratories located within inner Paris for a fixed period of time.

Józef Tischner Fellowship 2012

The Institute for Human Sciences (IWM) has recently published a new call for application for the JÓZEF TISCHNER Fellowship 2012 for young Polish or Polish-American scholars which is open to all academic disciplines in the Humanities and Social Sciences.

ERASMUS TEACHING GRANTS 2011/2012 - 1st cycle

Application deadline: 30 September, 2011
The Erasmus teaching grant enables CEU faculty to spend a teaching period between 1 day - or at least 5 teaching hours - and 6 weeks at an Erasmus partner institution. A minimum duration of 5 working days is strongly recommended.  Please visit the Erasmus website at http://www.ceu.hu/academics/exchange/erasmus/bilateral-agreements for a list CEU's Erasmus partners.

ERASMUS STAFF TRAINING GRANTS 2011/2012

Application deadline: 30 September, 2011
 
CEU administrative employees may seek Erasmus funding for training at a partner institution, or participation in conferences or workshops. You can find a list of CEU's partner institutions in the Erasmus Program at http://acro.ceu.hu/node/1111.
 
The duration of the exchange must be five working days. Shorter stays are allowed in the case of conferences, seminars and workshops.

Go8 European Fellowships - Call for Applications

The Group of Eight - Australia offers eight annual fellowships to early career researchers in Europe to work in Go8 universities for up to six months.  
Each Fellowship is worth up to AUD 20,000.

The Fellowships are open to eligible researchers in Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia and Croatia.
