Alumni Dinner Pictures

Central European University founder George Soros (who recently retired as chairman of CEU’s Board of Trustees to remain as Honorary Chairman) was honored jointly by the alumni of the university and its graduating class of 2008 in an event which took place on June 18, 2008. The event—a dinner which reunited over 850 participants from 70 countries—provided the setting for the handing over  of a scroll, containing the names of over 7,200 CEU graduates to date, to George Soros, in appreciation for his vision, his generosity and his commitment.
