Berne Weiss grew up in New York and lived in San Francisco for 25 years before moving to Budapest. Her first training in psychotherapy was in the 1970's in Philadelphia, and she continued studying clinical psychology and training in San Francisco, including couple counseling and family therapy, eventually studying organizational psychology as well. She describes her approach to psychotherapy as shining a light on someone's life path to help them gain greater clarity, greater courage, and greater comfort with themselves.
