Graduation
Graduation is the accumulation of a great deal of work and achievement. CEU is committed to make graduation an unforgettable experience for you.
The CEU graduation ceremony takes place each year in June. At the ceremonies the CEU Open Society Prize is also awarded. Among the famous recipients there were Vaclav Havel, former President of the Czech Republic; Arpad Goncz, former President of Hungary; Ricardo Lagos, former President of Chile, Carla del Ponte, prosecutor of the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and, in 2008, Kofi Annan, seventh Secretary-General of the United Nations.
