The Welcome Afternoon is an informal event for students to meet CEU's administration and service units, such as Student Services, the IT department, HRSI, and Alumni and Career Services, in a casual setting. Information tables are set up in the lobby for students to get informed about our activities and approach us with questions. Companies and organizations from outside CEU also attend, offering a wide range of cultural and recreational activities in Budapest and the countryside.
The Welcome Party is an excellent opportunity for new students to get to know each other. If weather permits, it begins in the garden at the CEU Residence Center with typical Hungarian dishes. The meal is followed by music and dancing with DJ and karaoke.
