Psychological Counseling

Our confidential student psychological counseling service is ready with professional help and support for your personal concerns.

Our professional counselors provide individual psychotherapy and counseling. Problems treated include (but are not limited to): motivation and concentration difficulties, self confidence problems, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, "perfectionism", obsessions/compulsions, depression, relationship concerns, emotional trauma, concerns that may result from racial, cultural or other identity issues.

Fritz Thyssen Foundation

Fritz Thyssen Foundation offers various types of funding. The purpose of the foundation is the direct support of scholarship and research in universities and non-profit research institutions, primarily in Germany, with special emphasis on giving help to young scholars and scientists. The foundation supports the following activities:

  • Research projects for certain amounts of time
  • Young researchers with doctoral degrees through the award of grants
  • Smaller research and scientific conference
  • International scholarship and exchange programme
  • To a certain extent the publication of the results of research work for which resources have been apportioned
