Sybil Wyatt is Director of Communications at CEU and heads the university's Communication Office. Before joining CEU, her higher education experience included three senior posts totaling 11 years: director of communications for the University of Maryland System; director of development communications for Johns Hopkins University; and executive director of communications for the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She worked for seven years in the private business sector, as the global marketing communications manager for Bechtel Corporation. She also has 13 years of varied communications experience with two top U.S. research and development enterprises: the Tennessee Valley Authority and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
Over the course of her career, Sybil has established strategic communications programs, branded major institutions, heightened the visibility—and influence—of socially relevant scholarship, and produced a large body of award-winning projects.
