Andrea Krizsan
Andrea Krizsan is Research Fellow at the Center for Policy Studies since 2001. She works in different equality policy related comparative research projects. Currently she is CPS lead researcher in the EU FP7 comparative project on Quality of Gender+ Equality Policies in Europe (QUING). In the last years she has worked as consultant in several equality policy related projects with the EU and other international organizations, think tanks and Hungarian government institutions. Her research interests include policy processes and the role of non-conventional policy actors in bringing about policy change. She works on equality policy especially on grounds of gender, but also ethnicity, disability and intersectional inequalities; on governmental agencies in the field of equality policy; on the role of feminist NGOs and transnational advocacy networks in bringing about policy change in CEECs. Her most recent project concerns reforms of domestic violence policies in five Central and Eastern European countries. She is currently co-editing a volume on institutionalizing intersectional inequalities with Palgrave MacMillan. Her publications include articles in Social Politics, European Integration Online Papers, Policy Studies, Journal for Ethnic and Minority Studies, Journal of Greek Social Science Review, chapters in several edited volumes, and two edited volumes on ethnic monitoring and data collection and on globalization with CPS Books, CEU Press.
Andrea has a PhD in Political Science from the Central European University.
