Academic/Professional experience, and Achievements: 

Agnes Batory is an Associate Professor at CEU’s Department of Public Policy and a Research Fellow of the Center for Policy Studies. She holds a PhD from Cambridge University. Her research interests include corruption and corruption control, regulation and regulatory agencies, party politics and European integration, regional and education policy in the EU, and new modes of governance. She is author of The politics of EU accession (Manchester University Press) and co-editor, with Gabor Toka, of a book on voting behaviour in European elections. Her articles appeared, among others, in Governance, the Journal of Common Market Studies, and the European Journal of Political Reasearch. At CEU’s Department of Public Policy she is academic coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Masters Program in Public Policy (Mundus MAPP), a joint program delivered by four European universities and funded by the European Commission. She is chairman of the board of Transparency International Hungary.
