The Euro Crisis and Eastern Europe

Where is Europe going? What are the latest developments and prospects regarding the euro crisis? How does the crisis affect non-eurozone countries like Hungary?

Financial expert Laszlo Urban will discuss these and other timely topics concerning the euro crisis. CEU Business School professor Paul Marer will present updates on the crises in Greece, Spain and Portugal and their implications for the Central and Eastern European region. Question and answer sessions will follow each presentation.

Mr. Urban currently teaches in CEU Business School’s IMM (International Master’s of Management) program. He recently worked on an assignment with EBRD in London, heading the department for Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Urban was a CEO of the Hungarian Postbank, a vice president for Citibank in New York, and served as a department head at the National Bank of Hungary.
