 CIBG Business Networking Event

During this year's Summer University program at CEU two important trainings will take place:

A UNIDO training on Green Industry for international business managers, including topics like CSR, social entrepreneurship and green technology; and a Siemens Integrity Initiative training on Business Leadership and Integrity, for international business practitioners.

The Center for Integrity in Business and Government (CIBG) at CEU Business School will seize this opportunity and will organize a business networking event in the early evening of Thursday, July 5th, 2012 where we would like to welcome many of our alumni, members of the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum and the community of the Compliance Officers Club. This networking event will offer a unique exchange opportunity among regional and international business persons who are interested in green business, ethical business and ultimately, in business with integrity.

This networking event will be held at CEU Gellner Room, (Nádor u. 15, Monument Building) with a reception (food and drinks offered).

Registration with a welcome drink will open at 5:30 pm; the event will start at 6 pm with three really short presentations, one by Prof. Peter Hardi, Director of CIBG on behalf of the host organization, on the Integrity Education project and its impact on business; one by Fredrik Galtung, CEO of our partner organization, Tiri and the organizer of the Integrity Summer School, on the importance of the Integrity School and the impact of integrity training on business; and one by Prof. Laszlo Pinter from CEU's Dept. of Environmental Sciences and Policies, on behalf of the organizers of the UNIDO training, on the objectives of the UNIDO course and the importance of green industry for business sustainability. The presentations will be followed by an exchange with the participants and a free style networking during the reception. The preliminary result of the Global Executive Survey on Integrity Education will also be showcased during the event.
