CEU Pilot Website Update 3 (Dec 2008)

Dear friends and colleagues:
This is a brief informal update about our pilot Website which you are all helping to create.
First, I would like to congratulate the International Roma Research Network and the Environment, Energy and Security Project which have created first public websites using our platform.
Secondly, we have a major breakthrough by Brandon and Gergely who can now create custom themes for your minisites which you can entirely "own" (i.e. control what is displayed and how it looks). Have a look at the emergin DISC minisite to see what is possible! By the way, the DISC minisite is also excellent in a sense that it smoothly links to people and publications. Ask me or DISC colleagues how they do it!
Thirdly, we now have 392 posts on the Website, almost 20 minisites and exactly 40 users - early adopters!
Fouthly, Brandon has heroically transferred almost all content of the CEU 'institutional pages' from www.ceu.hu. Well done!
Fifth, a communique will soon go out to the CEU community announcing our experiment. Stay tuned here - we are going to send news, tips and other useful information about the Website
