ERASMUS TEACHING GRANTS 2011/2012 - 1st cycle

Application deadline: 30 September, 2011
The Erasmus teaching grant enables CEU faculty to spend a teaching period between 1 day - or at least 5 teaching hours - and 6 weeks at an Erasmus partner institution. A minimum duration of 5 working days is strongly recommended.  Please visit the Erasmus website at http://www.ceu.hu/academics/exchange/erasmus/bilateral-agreements for a list CEU's Erasmus partners.

The partner institutions must have agreed in advance on the program of the activities to be delivered by the visiting teachers (teaching program). The exchange should be completed by 30 September, 2012.

Grant
CEU will endeavor to support as many applications as possible within the limits of the available budget. The maximum grant amount may be expected between 500 - 800 €. Faculty members will receive their salaries while away on the Erasmus training. The grant is intended as a contribution to travel and subsistence costs, and does not cover all the actual expenses incurred. Priority is given to candidates who benefit from the Erasmus Program for the first time.

Eligibility
Eligible applicants must hold an employment contract with the Kozep-europai Egyetem. PhD students are also eligible if they are in an employment relationship with the Kozep-europai Egyetem or if they are able to submit an official confirmation of their teaching activities at CEU signed by the relevant department head.

How to apply
Application materials should include a completed application form (attached), a work plan approved by all parties and a budget estimate. Applications should be submitted unstapled to the Erasmus Office by 30 September, 2011. Applications received after the deadline, emailed applications and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants will be notified about the application decisions within four weeks after the deadline.
