  • The School of Public Policy and International Affairs (SPPIA) seeks to fill a senior-level position of Director of Executive Education and Partnerships, reporting directly to SPPIA’s Dean. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to work with SPPIA’s partners across the globe in order to build innovative academic programs for mid-career professionals and senior executives and to develop an ambitious, wide-ranging set of activities involving SPPIA students, which maximize their exposure to the world of policy practice. In addition, the Director will work with SPPIA faculty in order to incorporate such activities throughout the curriculum of SPPIA’s flagship Master program, to be launched in September 2013.

  • The recently-launched School of Public Policy and International Affairs (SPPIA) at Central European University invites applications for a Professor or an Associate Professor to build and lead a specialization in Global Communication and Media within its two-year flagship Master program, to be launched in Fall 2013. The position requires international recognition in scholarship; evidence of work that bridges theory and practice; and a Ph.D. in communication, media studies, political science, sociology, policy studies, law, or a related field.
