International Women's Day is a century-old socialist holiday that has been used as a platform to address women's oppression and gender/labor discrimination of larger socio-political regimes. The Morze Infoshop in Tuzrakter will be hosting a brief march and a workshop in the Popper Room at CEU following the HRSI/Department of Gender Studies action.

Directly following the Octogon gathering (2:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.) there will be brief march around Szt. Istvan square (in front of the Cathedral). Those already wearing "This is what a feminist looks like" T-Shirts can simply keep those on, otherwise men and women will be invited to creatively express the feminist in them with signs, banners, etc. The idea is a simple demonstration of joint struggle against gender and sex oppression women face on an everyday basis in their workplaces, homes, institutions, and on the street.

After the brief march (3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.) all are invited to a workshop in the Popper room at CEU moderated by Daniel Vasonyi of the Morze Infoshop in Tuzrakter on anti-sexist autonomous therapy groups. Everyone is encouraged to participate in this discussion about the broader potential of such organizations and their place in the wider movement.
