Full description:

International organizations and international policy networks play an important part in global governance. This course enables students interested in global governance to acquire a deeper understanding of the processes and structures that determine the character and outcome of policy-making in the "global agora" of public policy. The course is aimed at complementing the academic analysis of international organizations and policy networks by offering insights into the practical functioning of day-to-day decision-making within IOs, INGOs and international policy networks. To this end the course features a series of guest speaker sessions with senior members of the policy-making community.
