Learning Outcomes: 
By the end of the course students will be expected to be able to read, with the help of a standard dictionary, Aristotelian texts. They are expected to be able to assess the implications of different interpretations, and to formulate their own interpretation in the context of these alternative options.
Assessment : 
Requirements: • regular attendance • regular preparation • active participation in discussions Assessment: • Knowledge of Greek, and progress made during the term 50%, class participation 50%. In case the knowledge and progress cannot be properly evaluated, students will be required to translate in class a short passage provided by the instructor.
