The CEU Ambassador Program
The CEU Ambassador Program leans on its Alumni, AFP fellows and faculty to provide outreach to prospective students interested in CEU and to students admitted to one of CEU’s Master’s or doctoral programs. The program also promotes the activities of CEU and bolsters its presence worldwide.
The Ambassadors support the international presence of the university on a volunteer basis, sharing their own experiences of studying or working at CEU through promoting its programs in various parts of the world. These committed individuals cooperate with the Student Recruitment Office by identifying and maintaining contact with prospective students as well as by representing CEU at events, such as educational or career fairs depending on their availability.
This program is envisioned as a network of volunteers who not only support talented young people in applying to CEU but also welcome university representatives in their home countries, provide the university with recommendations about potential cooperation partners and support the CEU Student Recruitment Office in organizing recruitment trips. CEU Ambassadors are selected mainly from among our Alumni. All active Alumni who would like to participate in the Ambassador Program to support prospective students in their respective countries are welcome to contact us. Cooperation of the CEU Ambassadors with their local Alumni groups is strongly encouraged.
All inquiries about the Ambassador Program should be directed to Dr. Maria Trofimova (PHIL 2010) and Rodrigo Avila Barreiro (DPP 2010), Student Recruitment Coordinators.
