Finance has seen a lot of change in the past 20 years. ITdevelopment  has changed its role beyond recognition and now it is widely assumed that finance people can make lots of money and live exciting lives. Yet, students choosing finance or accountancy as a major area of study are still a minority. I would be interested in students' views as to why 'Marketing' or 'International Business' are fare more popular. Is it the realative ease of study? Has it got to do with numbers? Anything else that I am missing...?
