The European Research Council (ERC) has recently published its Workprogram for 2012 containing a new funding scheme called SYNERGY GRANT.

The main aim of the new scheme is to support small groups of excellent principal investigators to bring together complementary skills, knowledge and resources in new ways in order to jointly address research problems.

The European Research Council (ERC) has recently  published the 2012 Call for the Starting Independent Researcher Grant.

The scheme is part of the 7th Framework Program/Ideas Subprogram of the European Commission and it addresses excellent postdoctoral  and early-stage researchers who wish to START or CONSOLIDATE their independent research career supported by a team of scholars operating in one of the EU Member States or Associated Countries.
