Renata Uitz (Chair, Comparative Constitutional Law Program, Department of Legal Studies) and Cole Durham (Recurrent Visiting Faculty, Department of Legal Studies) recently participated in the Organization for Security and Co-Operation in Europe (OSCE) annual human rights conference in Warsaw. Both were quoted in the OSCE's news item on the topic of the registration of religious communities, highlighting the difficulties many communities face when trying to undertake activities due to the restrictive registration procedures of some states.
