ERASMUS TEACHING GRANTS 2011/2012

CEU faculty may spend a short teaching period between 1 day – or at least 5 teaching hours – and 6 weeks at a partner institution. The Erasmus faculty grant is a contribution to travel and the cost of living in another country.

Faculty exchange within the ERASMUS scheme is possible between partner institutions with a bilateral agreement. For more information on teaching opportunities based on Erasmus agreements, see a full list of CEU's bilateral agreements.

The partner institutions must have agreed in advance on the program of the activities to be delivered by the visiting teachers (teaching program).

Who can apply?

In order to qualify for an Erasmus teaching grant, the applicant must have an employment contract with Kozep-europai Egyetem.

How to apply?

  1. Select a host institution from among CEU’s Erasmus partner institutions.
  2. Prepare the teaching program: explain the objectives of the mobility, the added value of the mobility for both institutions and the expected results. The teaching program must be agreed on by all parties before submission.
  3. Prepare all other application materials: fill in the application form, obtain an official invitation from the host institution and prepare a budget estimate.
  4. Submit your complete application to the Erasmus Office by 1 February, 2012. Application documents should be unstapled. Applications received after the deadline, emailed applications and incomplete applications will not be considered.

ERASMUS STAFF TRAINING GRANTS 2011/2012

CEU administrative employees may seek Erasmus funding for training at a partner institution or participation in conferences or workshops. The Erasmus staff training grant is a contribution to travel and the cost of living in another country.

The duration of the exchange must be five working days. Shorter stays are allowed in the case of conferences, seminars and workshops. The training should be completed latest by 30 September, 2012.

Who can apply?

Eligible applicants must hold an employment contract with Kozep-europai Egyetem.

How to apply?

  1. Select a host institution from among CEU's Erasmus partners or a conference or workshop of relevance.
  2. Prepare a work plan: A prerequisite for the awarding of any grant is the submission of a work plan agreed by both the sending and the receiving institution or enterprise. The plan must consist of at least: overall aim and objectives, expected results in terms of training or learning activities to be carried out and a programme for the training period. In the case of conferences or workshops, please submit the official program of the event.
  3. Prepare the application materials: fill in the application form and prepare a budget estimate.
  4. Submit your complete application to the Erasmus Office by 1 February, 2012. Application documents should be unstapled. Applications received after the deadline, emailed applications and incomplete applications will not be considered.
