Hungarian Accredited Degrees
CEU offers an increasing number of Hungarian-accredited degrees enabling students to earn a degree within the European Union.
The university is expanding its number of degree programs with Hungarian accreditation, giving students the opportunity to earn a degree which will be recognized not only in the US, but also throughout Europe.
In addition to a wide range of Master's level further specialization degrees (szakirányú továbbképzési szak), CEU is in the process of accrediting more full Master’s degree equivalents, in accordance with the Bologna process degree cycle reform and requirements. CEU also offers doctoral degrees in its two Hungarian-accredited doctoral schools (doktori iskola) in the fields of economics and history.
Students who satisfy both the Hungarian and the US requirements, can qualify for both degrees. Please contact the relevant department for individual requirements.
The university has a recent appointment for a Pro-Rector for Hungarian and European Union Affairs, overseeing Hungarian-accredited programs at CEU.
